The town of Shirala came alive with pride and cultural reverence during the Bhim Jayanti Mahotsav 2025, organized by Samata Yuvashakti Shirala on the occasion of the 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
As part of the grand celebration, Maharashtra’s acclaimed Bhim Geet singer Kadubai Kharat delivered a soul-stirring musical performance that paid heartfelt tribute to the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar.
The event was inaugurated by MLA Satyajit Deshmukh, who graced the occasion with his presence and lauded the efforts of Samata Yuvashakti for organizing such a meaningful tribute.
“Dr. Ambedkar’s thoughts continue to inspire generations. Cultural programs like this help keep his mission alive,” said MLA Satyajit Deshmukh during the inauguration.
A large number of citizens from Shirala and nearby villages gathered to witness the musical homage, filling the atmosphere with unity, gratitude, and cultural pride. Kadubai Kharat’s renditions of iconic Bhim Geet received roaring applause from the audience, creating an electrifying and emotional experience.
