Farmer Nathuram Bhimrao Patil from Sagav, Tal. Shirala, was attacked by a leopard in his sugarcane field. He sustained injuries and was treated at the Sub-District Hospital, Shirala.
Satyajit Deshmukh personally visited the hospital to check on the farmer’s condition and gathered treatment details from the doctors.
Despite the attack, Nathuram Patil bravely fought back and managed to escape. Satyajit Deshmukh appreciated his courage and assured that discussions with the forest department and administration are ongoing to find a permanent solution.
