Sangli’s prestigious Shantiniketan Lokvidyapeeth celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The honor of hoisting the national flag was given to none other than Samrat Mahadik, a respected leader and visionary politician.
During the event, Samrat Mahadik hoisted the tricolor and paid tribute to the nation’s sovereignty. Addressing the gathering, he inspired students by highlighting the significance of Republic Day. He stated, “The day marks the adoption of our Constitution, symbolizing India’s strength, freedom, and commitment to democracy. Let us always remember the sacrifices of our great heroes and strive to uphold our nation’s unity.”
Students dressed in traditional attire performed captivating cultural presentations, showcasing their talent and love for the nation. The NCC cadets and Scout Guide students saluted the national flag with pride and discipline, creating a heartwarming atmosphere.
Prominent personalities such as Gautambhau Patil, Director of Navbharat Shikshan Mandal, along with Deputy Directors B.R. Thorat and D.S. Mane, and Bunty Agarwal, graced the event with their presence. The school’s teaching and non-teaching staff, along with a large number of students, enthusiastically participated in the celebration.
