AV9 Marathi News

A significant health camp was organized in Islampur to honor the Smritidin of Loknete Rajarambapu Patil. The event, which received an overwhelming response, treated over 4,000 patients across multiple medical fields. The camp aimed to offer free health services, including routine blood tests, ECGs, and specialized check-ups for cardiology, gynecology, dermatology, neurology, and orthopedics. The initiative focused on ensuring accessible healthcare for the residents of Islampur and surrounding areas, especially those unable to afford costly treatments.

Specialist doctors from various fields actively participated in the camp, providing consultations and treatments. Notably, over 200 patients were diagnosed with cataracts, and around 100 patients received diagnoses for cardiac diseases. These patients were referred to Krishna Hospital in Karad for further treatment and surgery, all at no cost. The camp also addressed urgent medical needs, with a heart attack patient receiving immediate care and being admitted to Krishna Hospital for further treatment.

The efforts of Pratik Dada Patil, Krishna Charitable Trust, and all other contributing members ensured that this camp was a resounding success. The camp’s impact extended beyond just treatment; it also provided awareness and education about health conditions and the importance of regular check-ups. This initiative reflects a community-driven approach to improving healthcare accessibility and is expected to continue positively impacting the lives of many in the region.
